Hei hei! / Bye bye!

Kukat on kasteltu,asuntoauto melkein pakattu ja kartta taitettu laukkuun. Huomenna aamulla lähdemme kohti pohjoista,ilman sen kummempia suunnitelmia tai päämääriä. Katsotaan minne päädytään! Toivon teille oikein kauniita ja lämpöisiä elokuun viimeisiä päiviä,nähdään taas ihanat!

Flowers has been watered,camper is almost packed and a map is folded in to my bag. We're leaving towards north tomorrow morning without no special plans or destinations. Wonder where we're going to end up! I wish your last August days are beautiful and warm,see you later dears!

Kurkkukipu vaihtui tukkoiseen nenään,mutta sain tärkeät asiat hoidettua (aika pitkällä jonotuksella tosin) ja piristin itseäni Fidan alennusmyynnissä. Löytyi kaksi kehystä (yht. 2,5 e),puuhelmet (1 e),kori (0,25 snt) ja ihana takki (3,5 e mutta siitä ei kuvaa),jota ystävä kehui ja mies kauhisteli:). Se lähtee kuitenkin mukaan reissuun,niinkuin tuo mummoni vanha villatakkikin. Lapselle ostin pienen koiran,jota on katseltu ja huokailtu varmaan pari kuukautta. Se maksoi kymmenen senttiä,sai nimen Leona ja oli leikeissä mukana koko päivän. Käytiin myös Hoffissa herkuttelemassa ja hamstraamassa pähkinöitä P&S:stä. Nyt vielä kannullinen rooibosta,sitten nukkumaan että jaksan huomenna töissä. Leppoisaa perjantai-iltaa kaikille!

Sore throat turned into stuffy nose,but I got my important things done (with a long queuing though) and cheered myself up at one flea markets sale. I found two frames (2,5 e together),wooden pearls (1 e),a basket (0,25 cnt) and a lovely coat (3,5 e but it's not in these pics) which my friend praised and E. doupted:). However,I'm going to take it with me to our trip and my grandmas old cardigan too. For P. I bought a little dog that she's been watching and sighing at least couple months. It costed ten cents,got herself a name Leona and was in her plays all day. We also went to a café and bought some nuts too. Now I'm going to make a jugful of rooibos,then it's time to go to bed so I have some energy to work tomorrow. Cosy Friday-evening to all of you!

Tänään oli mitä kaunein päivä,mutta tottakai herättiin lapsen kanssa kipeinä ja jouduttiin jäämään sisälle. Mutta onneksi meillä oli ihan mukavaa sisälläkin. Tein lapselle pahvista miekan ja ompelin silmälapun (vaikea varmaan arvata mikä on tämän hetken kovin juttu?),pesin mummoni vanhoja vaatteita,viritin vihdoin ja viimein lippunauhan lapsen huoneeseen,löysin kaappiin unohtuneet lapsen kengät,jotka onneksi mahtuvat vielä hetken,kudoin vähän ja join litroittain teetä. Illalla kävin kaupassa ja ostin söpön kasvin sekä aika paljon keksejä. Ne kuuluvat viileneviin iltoihin teen seuraksi,etenkin silloin kun kurkku on kipeä. Toivottavasti olo kohenee pian,sillä huomenna on pakko lähteä kaupungille hoitamaan enemmän ja vähemmän tärkeitä asioita,lauantaina on töitä ja sunnuntaina jotain superkivaa: lähdemme koko porukka asuntoautolla kohti Lappia! Apua! Olen aivan innoissani mutta hieman myös epäileväinen:) Saa nähdä miten meidän käy!

It was the most prettiest day today but of course we woke up sick with P. and had to stay indoors. But luckily we had nice time inside too. I made a cardboard sword and sewed an eyepatch for P. (not quite difficult to guess what's the best thing right now),washed my grandmas old clothes,placed the pennant banner finally to P's room,found P's forgotten shoes from a cabinet and luckily they fit for a while,knitted a bit and drank litres of tea. In the evening I went to a store and bought a cute plant and quite a lot of cookies. They belong to these cooler evenings with tea,especially when your throat is sore. I hope I feel better soon,because tomorrow I have to go run some errands on town,on Saturday I'll be working and on Sunday there will be something supernice: we're leaving to Lapland with a camper! Yaiks! I'm really excited but also bit suspicious:) Well,let's see how it goes! 

On ollut töitä ja touhuja. Harmaita päiviä ja pimeitä iltoja. Tuntuu omituiselta pitää lamppuja päällä ja ikkunoita kiinni. Villasukat viihtyvät jalassa ja teemuki kädessä. Päätin,että koskaan ei voi olla liian vanha opettelemaan kävelemään koroilla ja ostin puukengät. Ne ovat ihanat ja hämmästyttävän mukavat jalassa. Mutta varmasti ainakin muutama ihminen sai hyvät naurut vaappumiselleni tänään:)  

Hustle and bustle. Grey days and dark evenings. Feels weird to keep lights on and windows closed. Woolen stockings stays on and a teamug is on my hand all the time. I decided that I can never bee too old to learn to walk on heels and I bought clogs. They're lovely and feel surprisingly good on. But I guess at least a few people had a good laugh watching me wobbling on them today:)

Vielä viimeiset,sekalaiset kuvat Helsingissä. Kahdesta ihanasta päivästä jäi kipeät jalat,paljon valokuvia,muutama tuliainen ja hyvä olo,mikä jatkuu edelleen. Nyt arki saa taas jatkua. Mukavaa maanantaita ja uutta viikkoa kaikille!

Parhaita olivat valoisat sisäpihat,ystävän tekemä aamupalasmoothie,Hakaniemen kauppahalli,cappuccinoon tipahtanut sormus (saatiin hyvät naurut!),mantelicroissant,meren ja kaupungin tuoksu,ystävälliset ja tyylikkäät ihmiset,Torkkelinmäki,se että kävellen pääsi joka paikkaan ja että kaikki oli lähellä,pienet kahvilat joihin kurkittiin ja poikettiin,kehäkukka-rooibos,rappuset ja risteilevät pikku kadut,Kansalliskirjaston katto ja ikivanhat kirjat,eloisuus,tuliset mantelit joita syötiin Ruttopuistossa,Vii Voan-kauppa ja sen mieletön valikoima,ihmisvilinä,rentous...ja niin edelleen.

Best things: bright inner courts,morning-smoothie that my friend made,market hall in Hakaniemi,ring that dropped into a cappuccino (we had a good laugh!),almod croissant,the smell of sea and city,friendly and stylish people,Torkels Hill,that you could walk everywhere and everything was near,small cafés we peeked into and stopped by,marigold-roibos,crisscrossing stairs and little streets,National Librarys ceiling and old books,vitality,hot almonds that we ate in a park,Vii Voan-shop and its wonderful seletion,bustling people,relaxed athmosphere..and so on.
