Tämä postaus on ollut luonnoksena jo reilusti yli kuukauden, odottanut että jaksaisin, että kiinnostaisi, että ehtisin. Rakastan käydä kuvia läpi ja järjestää niitä postausta varten mutta sitten kun olisi aika kirjoittaa tänne jotain, kiinnostus loppuu. Tuntuu ettei ole ikinä mitään uutta kerrottavaa - ei muuta kuin muutama lause asioista mitä on tapahtunut. Ja sitten käy näin, tulee viikkojen tauko ennen kuin jaksan tulla miettimään mitä kirjoittaisin. No, nyt sitten tulin - vaikka en tiedä mitä erityistä nyt sitten kirjoittaisin :)
Mutta lokakuu oli ihana, kyllä vain! Tässä paljon kuvia kaikeasta mukavasta.
/ I've had this post as a draft for way over than a month, waiting for me to have energy, interest, time. I love to go through my pictures and organize them for a post but when it's time to start writing something here, I lost interest. I feel there's nothing new to tell - nothing else than just few sentences about the things that has happened. And them this happens, comes a weeks long break before I manage to come back and think what to write. Well, now I came then - even though I don't know what special there is to write :)
But October was lovely, oh yes! Here's lots of pictures of all the nice things.
Lokakuussa satoi ensilumi ja se oli niin kaunista. Taianomaista.
Märkää, paksua lunta, upea kirkas aurinko. Kaikki kimmelsi ja hohti. Lumi suli ja joka puolella metsässä kuului pisaroiden ropina.
/ We got the first snow in October and it was so beautiful. Magical.
Wet, thick snow, gorgeous bright sunshine. All was glistening and shining. The snow was melting and you could hear the raindrops falling all over the forest.
Lumi pysyi vain muutaman tunnin, jo samana iltana maa oli täysin lumeton ja lumettomana lokakuu sitten pysyikin.
/ The snow stayed only few hours, the ground was all snowless in the same evening. And so was the rest of the October.
Eräänä aamuna herättiin ihanaan sumuun ja kuuraan. Lähdin heti ulos mutta sumu haihtui nopeasti. Ehdin onneksi ottamaan muutamia kuvia ja ihailemaan upeaa näkyä kun aurinko alkoi nousta sumun takaa.
/ On one morning we woke up to a lovely fog and frost. I went out right away but the fog was disappearing fast. Luckily I managed to take few pictures and admire the gorgeous view as the sun started to rise behind the fog.
Sain taas keramiikkatöitäni Lepaalta kotiin ja niistä tuli paljon hienompia kuin mitä odotin! Tykkään näistä niin paljon. Ja oli pakko tehdä seuraavalla kerralla lisää lehtiä :)
/ I got some of ceramics home again and they became a lot more nicer that what I expected! Like these so much. And I had to make more leaves next time I visited the pottery :)
Riisipuuroa kynttilänvalossa, itsetehdyistä kulhoistani.
/ Rice porridge in candle light, from self-made bowls.
Oli myös täydellinen retkipäivä. Niin lämmintä että lähdin mekolla ja villatakilla ja nuotion lämmössä oli pakko ottaa jopa villatakki hetkeksi pois. Oli ihanaa. Kuumaa teetä, kaunis syyspäivä ja se lämpö.
/ There was also one perfect forest trip. So warm that I wore a dress and a cardigan and by the fire I even had to take the cardigan off fro a while. It was wonderful. Hot tea, beautiful autumn day and that warmth.
Käveltiin keskustaan ja päätettiin hakea teetä - mies haki samalla vähän pullaakin! Pidettiin sitten kiva tee- ja pullatauko torilla.
We walked to town and decided to get some take-away tea - E. got some buns too! We had a nice tea & bun break at the market square.
Sumua ja kuuraa, täydellistä.

Viikonloppuisin kiireettömiä aamuja, herkullisia aamupaloja, monta kupillista teetä.
/ Those weekend mornings, without hurry. Delicious breakfasts, many cups of tea.
Teetä takapihalla auringolaskun jälkeen. Lokakuu muistutti taas tulevasta pimeydestä.
/ Tea in our backyard after sunset. October reminded us about the coming darkness.
