Oi toukokuu!! Ihana, ihana toukuu. Nyt kun katson näitä kuvia, en voi uskoa tätä kaikkea kukkaloistoa, värejä, vihreyttä. Uskomatonta miten luonto vain yhtäkkiä räjähtää eloon!
/ Oh May!! Lovely, lovely May. Now as I watch these pictures, I can't believe all these flowers and blossoms, colors, greenness. It's unbelievable how nature just explodes into life all of a sudden!
Kävin pari kertaa Lepaalla kuvailemassa heräilevää puutarhaa - tämä magnolia oli niin kaunis!!
/ I went to Lepaa Gardens couple times to take pictures of that waking garden - this magnolia was so beautiful!
Toukukuiseen tapaan oli kylmää, märkää, suorastaan hyytävää - ja sitten yhtäkkiä - se uskomaton lämpö! Muistan vieläkin tämän ensimmäisen kunnolla lämpimän päivän - menin metsään kuvailemaan moneksi tunniksi ja olin niin onnellinen. Linnut lauloivat, oli lämmintä, tuoksui kesältä.
/ Like always in May, it was cold, wet, downright freezing - and then suddenly - unbelievable warmth! I still remember this first really warm day - I went to the woods and took pictures there for hours and was so happy. Birds were singing, it was warm and smelled like summer.

Ja sitten - tämä taianomainen sumu! Olin katsonut säätiedotuksesta että aamulla pitäisi olla sumua ja laitoin aikaisen herätyksen, puoli viiden jälkeen olin jo ulkona seikkailemassa enkä olisi halunnut mennä kotiin ollenkaan! Sanon aika usein että joku oli upeaa ja ihanaa mutta tämä aamu, tämä oli yksi hienoimmista viime keväänä! Lämmin kostea ilma, sakea, tunteja kestänyt sumu. Hiljaista, rauhallista, vain linnut ja minä hereillä. Täydellistä.
/ And then - this magical fog! I had checked the weather report that it promised fog for the morning and I set an early alarm, I was out adventuring after 4.30 am and wouldn't want to go back home at all! I say quite often that something was great and lovely but this morning, this was one of the greatest last spring! Warm, moist air, thick fog that lasted for hours. Quiet, peaceful, just me and the birds awake. Perfect.
En ole vuosiin käyttänyt muita koruja kuin kihla- ja myöhemmin vihkisormusta sekä silloin tällöin paria kaulakorua. Sain Ethnasialta muutaman kaulakorun ja rannekoruja joita kuvailin ja joista osa jäi ihan pysyvään käyttöön - muistin taas kuinka ihania korut voivat olla :)
/ I haven't used other jewelry than my engagement ring and later wedding ring and occasionally a few necklaces. I got couple necklaces and some bracelets from Ethnasia which I took pictures of and some of them have stayed in my use - I remember how lovely jewelry can be :)
