Uusi vuosi / A new year

Takana ihana viikko pohjoisessa, väsyttävä ajomatka kotiin ja sen jälkeen töitä joka päivä. Pyykkiä on edelleen noin sata koneellista, koti on kaaoksessa ja ehkä vähän pääkin - suoraan lomalta töihin meneminen ei ole erityisen mukavaa enkä ole vielä edes tajunnut että vuosi ihan oikeasti vaihtui. Mutta nyt on onneksi pari vapaapäivää ja aikaa vain olla. Ajateltiin käydä ainakin kiertelemässä vähän alennusmyynneissä ja ehkä elokuvissa, nähdä ystäviä ja leipoa jotain hyvää. Ja nauttia lumesta ja pakkasesta joita tänne eteläänkin on nyt luvassa. Lunta satoikin jo tänään ja heti on kauniimpaa 💙
Kuvat ovat Lapista niinkuin varmaan arvasitte :) Näitä on vielä jonkun verran mutta suurin osa on maisemia parilta päivältä kun oli valoisaa. En tosiaan kuvannut paljon koska valoa ei yksinkertaisesti ollut. Se kyllä yllätti ja hämmästytti vaikka tiedettiinkin että päivä (ja valo) on siellä lähes olematon tähän aikaan vuodesta. Se oli hyvin hämmentävää - en tiedä kestäisinkö talvea jos se olisi täälläkin niin pimeä..

Ihanaa uutta vuotta kaikille! Olkoon se edellistä parempi ja täynnä iloa ja rakkautta 💕

So there has been a lovely week up in the north, a tiring drove back to home and working everyday since we got home. I still have about 100 kg of laundry to wash, messy home and maybe a bit messy head too - going work straight from vacation isn't quite nice and I still haven't even realized that the year actually changed. But luckily I have few free days now and time to just be. We are thinking of going to the sales and maybe to see a movie, see some friends and bake something good. And enjoy about snow and frost which are finally forecasted here in south too. It did snow a bit already today and it's so much prettier right away 💙
And the pictures are from Lapland as you might have guessed :) I have some of these left but most of them are views from couple of days when it was bright. I didn't actually take that many pictures, simply because there were no light. It did surprise and amaze us even though we did know that the day (and light) is almost nonexistent up there this time of the year. It was very confusing - I don't know if I could handle the winter if it would be that dark here too...
