Tylsän viikon kivoja asioita : teehetket hyvien ystävien seurassa, piparien leipomista ja koristelua,myöhäinen synttärilahja ja eilinen lumipyry. Nyt on nättiä ja valoisaa, ainakin hetken.

Nice things on this boring week : drinking tea with good friends, baking and decorating gingerbread cookies, late birthday present and yesterday's snowsquall. Now it's all pretty and bright,at least for a while.

Huomenna leivotaan! Tänään taitoin pihalta katajanoksan pulloon ja ihastelin auenneita hyasintteja. Ihastelin myös uutta Yhdessä-kalenteriani,mikä tupsahti eilen postilaatikkoon. Hieno on!

Still dark and rainy but also bit christmassy. We ran some errands yesterday and wondered the big christmas tree at the market square at the same time..or well,I wondered and Elli picked some pine cones. I also bought the first christmas present and some gingerbread dough. We'll bake tomorrow! Today I folded one juniper branch from our yard and put it into a bottle and admired the blooming hyacinths. I also admired my new Yhdessä-calendar,which I ordered last week and got yesterday. It's great! Other things in the pictures: hot chocolate after a walk,Peppi's christmas-drawing (she draws these all the time,it's so nice!),knitting socks form left-over yarns,Elli's cute bunny-dress,christmas decorations in the big tree,Eetu the cat sleeping on the table in Kahvila Leivintupa..he wasn't happy at all when I had to wake him up and carry outside as we left from work:) and Panda under a pile of pillows..:)

Independence Day

Mukavaa iltaa teillekin!

Cosy Independence Day. Elli took care of early wake up but big teapot and being lazy all morning helped. We walked and played in the sleet and even though the weather was quite miserable,it was nice to have even something white on the ground. We also went to see the Independence Day parade which was in our town this year. Rest of the day we've been doing this and that inside the house - we made some delicious food, burned lot's of candles, listened to christmas radio, been to sauna, read and feasted. Next - movie, knitting and more tea. Have a nice evening!
