Olin mielissäni kun syyskuu alkoi ja pidin kyllä ihan koko kuukaudesta. Oli rauhallisempaa, syksyisempää mutta vielä lämmintä. Paljon kauniita sumuisia aamuja, pitkiä metsäkävelyitä, hiljaisia hetkiä.
/ I was happy when September started and I did like the whole month. It was more peaceful, autumnal but still warm. Many beautiful foggy mornings, long forest walks, quiet moments.
Eräänä vapaapäivänä suuntasimme Lempäälään Kahvila Siiriin mistä olin kuullut paljon kehuja - eikä suotta! Niin ihastuttava paikka! Upea vanha talo ja kauniisti sisustettu vanhaan tyyliin. Olisin voinut viettää siellä ihan koko päivän tunnelmoiden ja haaveillen ja kuvaillen - ja juoden teetä :)
/ On one free day we headed to Lempäälä to visit Café Siiri which I had heard lot's of recommendations - and I could see why! Such a charming place! Gorgeous old house and so beautifully decorated in old style. I could've stayed all day there, sitting and dreaming and taking pictures - and drinking tea :)
Oi sumu!! Rakastan sumua niin paljon. Eräs aamu oli aivan taianomaisen kaunis..sumua ja hitaasti sen seasta nouseva aurinko. Lähdin koirien ja kameran kanssa metsään ja olimme siellä monta tuntia. Oli todella kaunista enkä voinut lopettaa kuvaamista.
/ Oh fog!! I love fog so much. One morning was magically beautiful..fog and sun slowly rising from it. I went to the forest with the dogs and my camera and we stayed many hours there. It was just really beautiful and I couldn't stop taking pictures.
Elli aloitti syksyllä partion ja ensimmäisellä kerralla oli kaikenlaista puuhaa minne menin mukaan. Etsittiin eläinten kuvia ja Martat pitivät sienikoulun mistä molemmat tytöt innostuivat ihan hirveästi - ja minä myös! Lapsena olin aina syksyisin isäni ja setäni kanssa sienimetsällä mutta sen jälkeen en vuosiin ja kaikki on jo unohtunut. Oli kiva oppia sienistä ja palauttaa lajeja mieleen - ja etenkin etsiä niitä. Koluttiin lähimetsää ja jokaista löydettyä sientä ihmeteltiin porukalla ja ihanat Martat kertoivat tietojaan ja olivat mahtavan innostuneita. Sieni-innostus jäi päälle ja mentiin heti seuraavana viikonloppuna metsään ja saatiinkin ihan kiva kanttarelli-saalis, nam!
/ Elli started scouting this autumn and on first time there was all kinds of nice things and I could go there with Elli. We searched for animal pictures and lovely ladies from Martha Organization kept us a mushroom-school which both girls got so excited - and me too! I used to spent all my autumns in the forests hunting for mushrooms with my dad and uncle and after that I haven't done that and all is forgotten. It was nice to lear about mushroom and recall all the types - and especially search them. We adventured in a near forest and wondered every found mushroom together in a group and lovely Marthas told their facts and were wonderfully enthusiastic. Mushroom-excitement stayed on and we went to the forest right on next weekend and got quite nice catch of chanterelles, yum!
Oli myös mahtavan tytön synttärit Helsingissä ja kiva päivä täynnä ystäviä ja herkkuja :)
/ There were also a birthday party of a great girl in Helsinki and a nice day full of friends and treats :)

/ Hello forest, hello lovely trees.
Eräänä harmaana päivänä lähdettiin paistamaan makkaraa vanhalle leirintäalueella ja kävin rannassa Pepin kanssa kuvailemassa. Alkoi tihkuttamaan ja peitin kameran muovipussilla jonka satuin löytämään takin taskusta mutta sainpahan otettua muutaman kuvan. Kallio tuntui oudon lämpimältä jalkojen alla, taivas oli matala ja harmaa ja sade kasteli kevyesti. Olisin kuvannut pidempäänkin mutta muut odottivat ja sade yltyi.
/ On one grey day we went for a campfire trip to an old campsite and I went to the shore with Peppi to take some pictures. It started to drizzle and I covered my camera with a plastic bag that I happened to find from my pocket but I did manage to take few pictures. The rock felt strangely warm under my feet, sky was low and grey and the rain watered me lightly. I would've been there longer but others were waiting and the rain got heavier.
Ui ui mitä herkkuja Kahvila Siirissä! Oli melkein mahdotonta valita - mutta lopulta päädyin omenahillo-puustiin ja sehän oli erityisen herkullinen :)
/ Oh my what treats in Café Siiri! It was almost impossible to choose - but finally I ended on apple jam bun and it was especially delicious :)
Minttu pääsi taas koriin koska täytti yhden vuoden!! Onnea ihana hassu Minttu ja onnea kaikille Mintun siskoille myös - Mimosalle, Hertalle ja Murulle 💚
/ Minttu got to be in a basket again because she turned one year!! Happy birthday lovely funny Minttu and congratulation to all her sister too - Mimosa, Hertta and Muru!
