Viimeiset / Last ones

I love history and everything old - old places and houses and things. I often wonder what it was like to live before. Was it just heavy work, trying to survive over winter? Or actually easier, when everyone lived together, when there were only necessary things, nothing useless. Or did people want more back then too? And what if the museum had more houses and rooms, all to way to 21st century. How would they look like after all these old rooms? I think the most beautiful apartments where the oldest - only a few lasting furnitures, couple dishes. beautiful picture on the wall, precious book on the table. All carefully made, still so beautiful. And all those earthy tones and colors - oh. How glaring would this decades room look like! And full, there would be too much everything..

These were the last museum-pictures now, I hope you didn't get all bored with them. Now back to tea-momets,flowers,sunsets and just basic everyday life :)

  1. Kyllä näitä katselemalla herää monia ajatuksia. Tuo tavaramäärä on yksi... Kiitos hienosta kuvasarjasta!

  3. Dear Niina, I totally agree with you, I like the same things, and ask myself the same questions. Even if I do not idealize those times too much (hard times, not much money, not much comfort, hard working and less protection against the cold), I think there was more togetherness and less craving for more. But I appreciate our present time, because of technology progress which allows to communicate with you through the net. Thank you for all these beautiful souvenirs of ancient times in Finland, which is definitely a dreamland for me.

    1. Ohhh you! Thank you once again, you have the sweetest words and you comment so often! It means so much <3
And yes - I do like technology but not all of it. It's really lovely to take lot's of pictures and have a blog and "meet" all you dear people around the world and to have lights and washing machines and all the things that help us in our everyday life. But I hate how important it all has become - we couldn't survive without it anymore. Or yes,we could but we've become so addicted about technology that it would be really hard. And also,as much as I like blogs and ig and internet itself,I don't like how the world has become so small and everything is so fast and instant and how everyone is so addicted to them too.
Hard to explain but I have a feeling you understand me..:) But I could go on this forever!
I hope you have a lovely weekend <3

  5. Heippa Niina! Saiko tuolla siis ihan leikkiä lapsi noilla museotavaroilla (osalla)?
