Olipa kerran, kauan kauan sitten, kuukausi nimeltä heinäkuu. Se oli kaunis, vihreä ja täynnä elämää. Oli upeita vaaleanpunaisia kesäiltoja, valoisia aamuja ja kuumia iltapäiviä. Ihana, ihmeellinen heinäkuu.

Once upon a time, long long time ago, there was a month called July. It was beautiful, green and full of life. There were gorgeous pink summer evenings, bright mornings and hot afternoons. Lovely, wonderful July.
Heinäkuun alku oli lämmin, kuuma. Iltakävelyt olivat parhaita. Tässä lempipellolla, uusi vintage-laukku olalla.

My girls. There's one fresh 13-year-old (!!!!) here, who doesn't really like to be in pictures anymore and another one who's still 8-years here, which you can take pictures of and who is always ready to pose. Oh my sweet lovelies.
Heinäkuun alku oli töitä, kuvailua, hikoilua, herkkuhetkiä, kuumia kesäpäiviä, pieniä iltakävelyitä, loman odottelua.

The start of July was work, taking pictures, sweating, eating treats, hot summer days, little evening walks, waiting for vacation.
Kuumat päivät lämmittivät järvetkin nopeasti ja kävimme paljon uimassa - tai no, lähinnä tytöt. Tällä reissulla tosin pulahdin minäkin mitä ei usein tapahdu! Oli myös kivaa seuraa ja hyviä herkkuja, ihana iltapäivä rannalla.

Hot days warmed up the lakes quickly and we did swim a lot - oh well, the girls mostly. On this trip I did actually swim a bit which doesn't happen that often! We also had nice company and good treats, lovely afternoon on the beach.
